Confident & Positive Communication for General Practice

Confident & Positive Communication gives primary care teams a practical way to understand how NHS pressures, patient expectations and internal assumptions influence everyday conversations.  We explore the impact of tone, language and perception, and help staff use clear, positive communication to reduce confusion, support patient understanding and create a smoother experience across all contact points.

Managing Challenging Conversations

Managing Challenging Conversations gives staff a practical, realistic understanding of what drives conflict and why difficult behaviours can arise in a pressured healthcare environment. We explore the CHIMP model, emotional triggers and the patterns that tend to escalate situations.  Using simple, structured tools, participants learn how to communicate clearly, maintain professionalism and support patients through challenging moments without absorbing all the emotion themselves.

Mindset Matters

Mindset Matters gives staff and line managers a practical, down‑to-earth way to understandhow we choose to show up on busy, pressured days. We explore mindset, habits and the “autopilot” responses that creep in when demand is high.  We help people recognise their triggers, steady themselves, and actively choose a mindset that supports them, their colleagues and patients. This workshop turns mindset from something that “happens to us” into a skill we can practise every day.

Positive Care Navigation Conversations

Positive Care Navigation Conversations helps reception and admin teams support safe, effective patient access.  This practical workshop focuses on presenting care options clearly and positively, helping patients understand the most appropriate route of care.  Participants develop confident communication skills, learn how to explain choices clearly and guide patients to the right care more quickly and safely, making care navigation a consistent and effective everyday practice.
